CONNECTIONS
One of the main elements of Global Vantage is forming authentic connections around the world. We are always looking for opportunities to further our connections both nationally and internationally. If interested in establishing a partnership, feel free to contact us.
Otherwise known as the KGSA, this unique institution provides a free, holistic high school education to 130 girls every year in Kibera, Kenya – one of Africa’s largest informal settlements. KGSA’s mission is to break the cycle of poverty for girls and their families, empowering them to become stronger, more independent, and resilient women. Visit their website for more information and to donate!
In 2019, our group had the opportunity to travel as part of PRS’s Global Travel to Kibera, Kenya to meet the girls at the school. In 2020, Global Vantage raised a substantial amount of money, enough to donate bunk beds to KGSA’s new girls’ dormitory. KGSA’s Director Teka and alumni, now teacher teacher Dalifa Hassan were able to visit Pacific Ridge as a part of their United States tour and speak to our community about their mission.
